Welcome to Bicycle Riding is an ONLINE CLASS via Zoom through Nashville Community Education.
KJ will be teaching as part of the Nashville Community Education series. This class is open to the general public, and registration is available in the Wellness section through the Nashville Community Education website.
Class Overview
Want to get on a bike but don’t know where to start? With the hour-long course Welcome to Bicycle Riding, you’ll find out how to size yourself for a bicycle, what kind of bicycle may best suit your needs, and how to find your bike riding community – wherever you live!
Classes will be held online, in the comfort of your own home or office. This is a one-time class and registration costs are $25. Follow up materials will be sent by email covering topics discussed in the class. Students are invited to send topic-specific questions prior to the class.
Class Topics
- Proper bike sizing and fit
- Types of bicycles
- Which bicycle works best for your needs
- Making your bicycle just right for you
- Finding great places to ride
- Discovering bike friends
Students will have an opportunity to continue one-on-one assistance with KJ at a special NCE student rate.
This course does not cover bicycle maintenance; however, there will be a Basic Bicycle Maintenance class offered through Nashville Community Education on Tuesday, April 20th.
