Adult Learn to Ride – April 2022

FreeKJ from Bike Fun will be lead teaching a course on learning (or relearning) how to ride a bicycle. This course is meant for brand new riders and for potential riders who are anxious about getting back on a bicycle after a long time away. Walk Bike Nashville will be sponsoring the course.

Do you know someone who never learned to ride a bike as a child but has always wanted to? Do you feel like you could use a refresher? Then we have something just for you!
On Sunday, April 24th, 2022, Walk Bike Nashville is hosting an Adult Learn to Ride event. Come help us get you started on your bicycling journey!
This course is for folks who have never pedaled a bicycle before or who have been away for decades! It will cover the following topics:
- Getting onto the bike
- Basic balance
- Starting and stopping
- Pedaling
- Turning
Come learn how to ride in a safe and supportive environment.
Ages 18+. Bicycles and helmets will be provided for those who would like to attend but don’t have their own bicycle yet. Bicycles will need to be shared among participants.
