Thanks to Bike Fun supporter Koby Langner for connecting Bike Fun with the folks at Cosecha Community / Woodbine UMC earlier this year, Bike Fun now has an operating location at 2621 Nolensville Pike. (Learn more about supporting us in 2025!)
The Bike Fun Bike Lab has ramping up operations since August, hosting classes, participating in bike repair pop-ups at the Cosecha Community Market, and has been refurbishing bicycles to donate to our learn to ride students.
We had a lot of people helping us to create this space – Jeff Brousal, Joyce Dierschke, Rob Benshoof, Rachel Hayes, Andrew Monk, KJ Garner, Israel Ovalle, Gib Jeffries, Carlos Uroza & the community at Woodbine UMC. Board members Carey Rogers, Jennifer Stowe, and Amy Willoughby Bryant provided administrative guidance and support.
Bike Fun anticipates holding Open Shop hours twice a month in 2025, allowing community members to have a safe, accessible space to work on their own bicycles or to ask questions about bicycle maintenance.
The Bike Lab will also be a drop-off point for donated bicycles and bicycle accessories. You can find out more about what bicycles we accept at our bicycle donation guidelines page. Got something that matches our needs? Be in touch and we can arrange a drop off time.
We endeavor to have regular “office” hours to facilitate community engagement.
We also have access to classrooms in the Cosecha building, and if you’re a bicycle enthusiast who wants to hold a workshop or gathering let us know if we can help create space for you!
Bike Fun is happy to be part of this community and looks forward to collaboration in the coming years. Keep us rolling into 2025 by supporting us in one of four ways!
