Women/FTW-Only Adult Learn to Ride with Walk Bike Nashville – July 2021

FreeKJ will be lead teaching the third session of the popular Walk Bike Nashville Adult Learn to Ride class. You must register to attend using the form here. Class size is limited. A waitlist will be available.
Depending on interest, a second class may be added in future.
Do you know someone who never learned to ride a bike as a child but has always wanted to? Do you feel like you could use a refresher? Then we have something just for you!
On Saturday, July 17th, 2021, from 8:00 – 11:00 am Walk Bike Nashville and Bike Fun are hosting a women-only Adult Learn to Ride event. Bicycling is an amazing way to exercise and get around town. Don’t be shy.
Adult Learn to Ride is a free, community course for adults who are ready to learn to ride a bicycle. Whether you are 18 or 70, our certified instructors will help you get from zero to riding in no time. This course is organized by Walk Bike Nashville. This course is for folks who have never pedaled a bicycle before or who have been away for decades! It will cover the following topics:
- Getting onto the bike
- Basic balance
- Starting and stopping
- Pedaling
- Turning
Come learn how to ride in a safe and supportive environment!
Ages 18+, 16+ are welcome with a parent or guardian. Bicycles and helmets will be provided for those who would like to attend but don’t have their own bicycle yet.
