Nashville Area Women/FTW Only Intermediate Ride – September 16, 2021

September 16, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Bike Fun FTW rides
Join us for the Thursday edition of the FTW/women’s-only ride. Any time is great to ride, of course, but it’s even better when it’s with new bike friends. Details and start location will be published on the private Facebook group Ladies, Ride! If you’re not on Facebook, please contact KJ for more specifics.
This ride will be a slightly faster paced ride than the Tuesday night ones, centering intermediate riders who hope to be encouraged to stretch their distance. (12-15MPH average.) Rides will be between 15-20 miles. No rider left behind. We will traverse streets and greenways. Bring a light in case we roll back at dusk.
Please note: masks are OPTIONAL*.
In case of predictable inclement weather, the ride will be cancelled. EVENT UPDATES WILL BE POSTED IN THE FACEBOOK GROUP.
There is no charge for this ride, but donations to Bike Fun – a non-profit organization based in Nashville – are welcomed. See https://venmo.com/Bike-Fun or https://www.patreon.com/bikefun for opportunities to donate. Volunteers are always welcome!
* CDC guidance on mask use outdoors – especially in mixed vax status groups – suggests much lower transmission rates of COVID occurring, with the recommendation that non-fully-vaxxed folks still wear face coverings indoors and that all residents of higher transmission rate areas (including Tennessee) wear masks indoors. Cases are up in Davidson County as of the end of August 2021, especially among unvaccinated patients. If you’re able to be vaccinated, please do so.
