East Nashville Spokes Project Open House

See how bike infrastructure is evolving in East Nashville

You are invited to the East Nashville Spokes Community Open House on October 19th from 5:30 to 7pm at the East Park Community Center. Bike Fun will be providing guided bike loops on demo bike infrastructure set up outside the community center. We will also be assisting with helmet fitting, bike riding techniques, and more!

The East Nashville Spokes project will provide protected bike lanes, enhanced pedestrian crossings, optimized intersections, and other transportation improvements for Woodland/Union Streets, South 5th Street, and South 10th Street. East Nashville Spokes is the culmination of many years of planning for bikeway and multimodal improvements between East Nashville and downtown.

The open house will provide more information on existing conditions findings, design concepts, and real life examples of delineator options for the public to see and experience. Come learn more, experience bikeway elements, and share your feedback on the design concepts. Light refreshments will be provided, and children are welcome.
