ONLINE: Biking in Nashville, Spring 2020 – originally at Wright Middle School

Biking in Nashville, originally scheduled to be held in-person at Wright Middle School, will now be an ONLINE CLASS via Zoom through Nashville Community Education.

KJ will be teaching as part of the Nashville Community Education series. This class is open to the general public, and registration is available through the Nashville Community Education website.

Class Overview

Prepare yourself for a worry-free bicycle ride by learning basic maintenance and repair skills as well as how to ride with confidence. We will discuss road law in Nashville and Tennessee, where to ride, how to ride, and have the opportunity to learn how to clean a drivetrain and change a flat tire.

Classes will be held online, in the comfort of your own home or office. This is a one-time class and registration costs are $25. Follow up materials will be sent by email including detailed instructions on good practice bicycle maintenance.

Topics include: parts of the bicycle, bicycle/traffic laws, essential maintenance, riding confidently, and dealing with challenges in Nashville.
