11 & 12 Year Old Learn to Ride – April 2023

You’re Never Too Old to Learn to Ride!

This course is for brand new riders who have either only pedaled on training wheels or who have tried without success to ride without training wheels.

You must register to attend – fill out this registration form! Class size limited to 5 students. Suggested donation $10-15. Income based scholarships available.

Do you know an 11 or 12 year old who needs some help getting going on two wheels? Then we have something just for you!

Class Details

On Saturday, April 15th, Bike Fun is hosting an 11 & 12 Year Old Learn to Ride event. Get your kid started on their bicycling journey!

This course is for 11 and 12 year olds who have never pedaled a bicycle before. It covers the following topics:

• Getting onto the bike
• Basic balance
• Starting and stopping
• Pedaling
• Turning

Come learn how to ride in a safe and supportive environment.

For our learn to ride classes, we emphasize exposure, not expertise. Each human learns at their own pace, and we work with each student within their own ability.

Ages 11 & 12. Bicycles and helmets can be provided for those who would like to attend, but don’t have their own bicycle yet. Bicycles may need to be shared among participants. Please bring a water bottle/hydration and a snack! Bike Fun has limited snacks available.
