FAQs for Group Classes

These are some of the most asked questions about our group classes.

Tires should be able to be inflated & show no signs of dry rot. Handbrakes should be able to stop the bicycle. Coaster brakes should stop the rear wheel. Have a bike shop check the bike over if you're not certain. (You don't need to remove training wheels in advance.)

Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay and support their young riders (and maybe learn a little bit, too!). If you do need to leave, we ask that you return no later than 30 mins before the end of the class.

Our goal at Bike Fun is to provide a supportive, encouraging atmosphere in which to learn bicycle riding skills. Not everyone will "graduate" to pedals during the class - but many do, especially if they have had some prior experience and exposure to bicycle riding.

If something comes up in your life, we can issue a class credit to put towards another class registration, or we can apply the balance towards a private lesson. You are also welcome to contribute the registration cost as a donation to Bike Fun.

For attendance issues that are unrelated to illness or family emergency, 50% of the class registration cost can be refunded.
