Bike Fun was nominated for the REI Cooperative Action Fund grant by employees at the REI store in Brentwood, TN. “My community needs more people on bikes, and needs to see more people on bikes so that we can continue to grow a culture that offers safe alternative travel to cars, and improved ability to enjoy time outside,” said Pearl Dailey, store manager.
Through this grant, Bike Fun will continue to remove barriers to bike riding by providing education, resources, and community support. The organization’s programs serve a variety of populations, including youth, families, and people who face barriers to bicycle riding.
