2025 Holiday Donation Requests

Help us keep bicycle riders safe

A rider adds a phone holder to their bicycle, which also has a headlight on the handlebars.

Bike Fun partners with several local schools (Whitsett Elementary, Dan Mills Elementary, and Inglewood Elementary) and a community center in Nashville (South Inglewood Community Center) to provide bicycles and skills instruction throughout the year.

We also have small group classes and want to be able to provide our students with correctly sized helmets as well as accessories to make riding fun.

Items requested

Helmets

We teach people with all size heads! That being stated, we prefer a helmet with a dial-fit system (rachet) so that it can grow with the rider’s head, hairstyle, or weather condition (allowing a beanie underneath).

Bicycle lights (headlights, taillights, or other visibility accessories)

Lights can be either USB rechargable (preferred) or can take batteries; if they take batteries, it’s great to have AAA or AA as those can be found in rechargable types.

Bells

When riding on shared trails, a bell or a horn is essential to communication. It’s also a great way to express joy!

You can see examples at our WalMart Spark Good registry and Nashbar wish lists though we encourage supporting local bike shops and businesses first.
