DESCRIPTION:Get Rolling on Your Bicycle Journey\nBike Fun is lead teaching a course for adults on learning (or relearning) how to ride a bicycle. This course is meant for brand new riders and for potential riders who are anxious about getting back on a bicycle after a long time away. Walk Bike Nashville is sponsoring the course. \nDo you know someone who never learned to ride a bike as a child but has always wanted to? Do you feel like you could use a refresher after a long\, long time away? Then we have something just for you! \nClass Details\nOn Sunday\, October 30th\, 2022\, Walk Bike Nashville hosts an Adult Learn to Ride event during Open Streets. Get started on your bicycling journey! \nThis course is for folks who have never pedaled a bicycle before or who have been away for decades! It will cover the following topics: \n\nGetting onto the bike\nBasic balance\nStarting and stopping\nPedaling\nTurning\n\nCome learn how to ride in a safe and supportive environment. \nAges 18+. Bicycles and helmets are provided. If you have your own bicycle\, you may bring it for us to assess for size\, functionality\, etc. \nBring water\, snack\, and wear comfortable clothing. \nDate: Sunday\, October 30th\, 2022\nTime: First session is from 1-2:30p; second session is from 3-4:30p.\nRegister: Sign up here so we know what size bike to have for you!
