DESCRIPTION:We are RESCHEDULING this event to Tuesday\, May 31st\, due to anticipated weather on the 26th. Thank you! \nE-bikes are a great way to get active. This introductory class will familiarize you with the e-bikes in the Nashville B-Cycle fleet. This session is designed for older riders who want to learn more about pedal assist bicycles. \nExperts from Bike Fun will lead participants with an introduction to bike safety and give you a chance to ride an e-bike in a flat\, vehicle-free\, open area. \nWe will go over the following: \n\nTurning the bike on\nBrief safety check before riding\nShifting gears\nBraking techniques\n\nAdditionally\, we’ll cover finding the BCycle stations\, using the app\, signing up for an account\, how to borrow the bikes\, and hours of operation. \nE-bikes pedal and handle just like a regular bicycle. By and large\, an electric bike will use the same parts too. The electric component is meant to augment human power\, not completely replace it. It makes obstacles like hills and headwind more manageable and allows you to travel further without getting as tired. \nPlease register so we know how many bicycles to have on hand! \n\n\n	Related
