DESCRIPTION:Learn loads about tires and wheels at this focused clinic with Bike Fun. \nWant to learn the basics of fix a flat and tire care? \nBike Fun is hosting a Fix a Flat clinic. Bring your wheels or your bike and we’ll break it all down for you! \nWe will be inside working on our bicycles. \nThis course is for anyone 13 and up who wants to learn more about fixing a flat tire – and preventing flats in the first place. \nWe will cover wheel anatomy\, tubes\, tires\, some tubeless\, & selecting PSI. \nAges 13+ though note this is not a youth-specific course. Bicycle wheels can be provided for those who would like to attend but don’t have their own bicycle yet. We will be there with information on bike riding\, taking care of your bike\, and more. Bike Fun will also provide basic bicycle safety checks. The event will be held at the McFerrin Park Community Center on Grace Street. \n \nBicycle & accessories giveaway\nWe will have a limited number of kids bikes that we will be giving away during the event. RIDER MUST BE PRESENT FOR THE GIVEAWAY. We will also have bike accessories like bells\, visibility stickers\, and reflectors on hand. \nFirst come\, first served\nOur basic fixes include fix-a-flat\, bolt safety checks\, and chain cleaning.
