See our participant list below! \nNew this year: a limited edition festival poster designed by our friend David Greaves and available for sale for suggested donation of $10! Printed with a risograph\, this fun design uses elements from a bike lane network map of Nashville as well as a quirky stylistic bicycle. \n \nDo you want to help volunteer at the festival? Sign ups are closed but come on by & check in at the Bike Fun booth!\nBike Fun is grateful to have received a grant for a fourth year from the Inglewood Neighborhood Association in support of this event. This course is meant for brand new riders and for potential riders who are anxious about getting back on a bicycle after a long time away. \n(Interested in volunteering to help us out? Fill out this form!) \n \nClass Details\nPlease note: this class is for ages 7 and up and have limited tickets available for each age group! \n(Español abajo) \nThis course is for people who have never pedaled a bicycle before or who have been away for decades! It will cover the following topics: \n\nGetting onto the bike\nBasic balance\nStarting and stopping\nPedaling\nTurning\n\nCome learn how to ride in a safe and supportive environment. \nDate: Sunday\, May 3rd\, 2026\nTime: 1-4p\nRegister: See REGISTRATION FORM below – you must register so we know what size bike to have for you\, and how many supplies for all students!\nLocation: Wright Middle School \nThis is a multigenerational\, all ages learn to ride class. We are limited to 25 students or fewer. Bicycles and helmets are provided. DESCRIPTION:Learn at home caregiving tasks to keep your bicycle in tip top shape. Receive praise from the bike shop for keeping your bike in good order! Find out why it’s important to shift gears properly\, what inflation to use for your tires\, how (and why) to clean a chain\, and more. \nWant to keep your bike on the road and out of the shop? Come learn how just a few maintenance tasks will keep your bike going longer. \nBike Fun is hosting a Basic Bicycle Maintenance class. We will cover the basics of home bicycle maintenance\, as well as provide time to answer questions you may have about bicycle maintenance. If you have a bicycle and bring it\, we’ll also fill out your very own Bicycle Information Sheet. \nWe will be inside working on our bicycles. \nThis course is for anyone 13 and up who wants to learn more about taking good care of a bicycle. It will cover the following topics: \n\nHow to fix a flat\nHow to properly inflate your tires\nHow to clean a chain and diagnose chain wear; and\nWhat each part of your bike is.\n\nAges 13 and up though please note this is not a youth-specific course.
