DESCRIPTION:Let’s ride a bike!\nGoing strong into its third year\, the new moniker for the festival is the \nNashville Bicycle Festival\nThis event brings together a wide variety of bicycling enthusiasts – from supporters to mechanics\, from beginners to experienced cyclists\, from commuters to mountain bikers to cargo haulers and more. \nWhen: Saturday\, April 12th\, 10A-2P\nWhere: South Inglewood Community Center\, 1624 Rebecca Street (approach from Moore Street if not on foot/on a bike) \n \nWhat: Block printing of bicycle art (bring your own t-shirt if you want!)\, slow bicycle race\, bicycle parade\, best dressed bicycle contest\, HUB bike blitz\, helmet fittings & giveaways\, bike sizing & giveaways\, rider & bicycle visibility station\, & more. See our participant list below! \nDo you want to help volunteer at the festival? Thank you! Sign up here.\nBike Fun is grateful to have received a grant for a third year from the Inglewood Neighborhood Association in support of this event. We are also thankful for our location partner\, the South Inglewood Community Center! \nIf there’s inclement weather\, the Bicycle Festival will be held inside the South Inglewood Community Center. Otherwise\, we’ll be outside! \n What's going on during the Nashville Bicycle Festival? DESCRIPTION:Get Rolling on Your Bicycle Journey\nBike Fun is lead teaching a course for EVERYBODY on learning (or relearning) how to ride a bicycle. This course is meant for brand new riders and for potential riders who are anxious about getting back on a bicycle after a long time away. \nWalk Bike Nashville is sponsoring the course. \n(Interested in volunteering to help us out? Fill out this form!) \n \nClass Details\nOn Sunday\, April 27th\, 2025\, Walk Bike Nashville hosts an EVERYBODY Learn to Ride event. Get started on your bike life and sign up today! \nThis course is for people who have never pedaled a bicycle before or who have been away for decades! It will cover the following topics: \n\nGetting onto the bike\nBasic balance\nStarting and stopping\nPedaling\nTurning\n\nCome learn how to ride in a safe and supportive environment. \nDate: Sunday\, April 27th\, 2025\nTime: 1p-4p\nRegister: REGISTRATION FORM  – you must register so we know what size bike to have for you\, and how many supplies for all students!\nLocation: Bellevue UMC\, 7501 Old Harding Pike\, Nashville\, TN 37221 \nThis is a multigenerational\, all ages learn to ride class. We are limited to 25 students or fewer. Bicycles and helmets are provided. If you have your own bicycle\, you may bring it for us to assess for size\, functionality\, etc. \nBring water bottle\, preferred snack\, and wear comfortable clothing. \nThis event is OUTSIDE & WEATHER PENDING.
