Come help us get your kid up to speed on signaling\, weaving\, riding with friends and more! \nThis course is for 5 & 6 year olds who are comfortable riding a bicycle but need to improve their handling skills. It will cover the following topics: \n\nWeaving in between objects\nStarting strong/stopping smoothly\nWatching out for obstacles/fellow riders\n\nIncrease riding skills in a safe and supportive environment. This course is meant for brand new riders and for potential riders who are anxious about getting back on a bicycle after a long time away. Do you feel like you could use a refresher after a long\, long time away? Then we have something just for you! \nClass Details\nOn Sunday\, June 18th\, 2023\, Walk Bike Nashville hosts an Adult Learn to Ride event. Get started on your bike life! \nThis course is for men or male-identified folks who have never pedaled a bicycle before or who have been away for decades! DESCRIPTION:Learn 3 caregiving tasks to keep your bicycle in tip top shape. Receive praise from the bike shop for keeping your bike in good order! Find out why it’s important to shift gears properly\, what inflation to use for your tires\, how to clean a chain\, and more. \nYou must register to attend – fill out this registration form! Class size is limited to 10 students. Suggested donation $20-30.  \nWant to keep your bike on the road and out of the shop? Come learn how just a few maintenance tasks will keep your bike going longer. \nBike Fun is hosting a Basic Bicycle Maintenance class. We will cover the basics of home bicycle maintenance\, as well as provide time to answer all the questions you may have about bicycle maintenance. If you have a bicycle and bring it\, we’ll also fill out your very own Bicycle Information Sheet. \nWe will be inside working on our bicycles. \nThis course is for anyone 13 and up who wants to learn more about taking good care of a bicycle. It will cover the following topics: \n\nHow to fix a flat\nHow to properly inflate your tires\nHow to clean a chain and diagnose chain wear; and\nHow to make basic brake adjustments.\n\nAges 13+ – this is not a youth-specific course\, FYI. Bicycles can be provided for those who would like to attend but don’t have their own bicycle yet. Please bring a water bottle/hydration and a snack!
