DESCRIPTION:Join us for our FTW/women’s-only ride. Any time is great to ride\, of course\, but it’s even better when it’s with new bike friends. Details and start location will be published on the private Facebook group Ladies\, Ride! If you’re not on Facebook\, please contact KJ for more specifics.\n\n\nThis ride will center returning and new riders who hope to gain confidence and knowledge about riding a bike. Rides will be between 6-10 miles. No rider left behind. We will traverse streets and greenways (mostly greenways on this one).\n\nWe will have a short (10 minute) maintenance demo at the beginning of the ride covering various topics like tire inflation\, fixing a dropped chain\, lubricating a drivetrain\, and more. (Only one topic covered per ride!)\n\nMeet at location 6p to mingle/chat; maintenance demo will happen by 6:10p; we will roll out of the location by 6:25p. Don’t want to mingle or watch demo? Just come by 6:20p to roll out.\n\nPlease note: masks are OPTIONAL*.\n\nStart locations will vary.\n\nIn case of predictable inclement weather\, the ride will be cancelled. EVENT UPDATES WILL BE POSTED IN THE FACEBOOK GROUP.\n\nThere is no charge for this ride\, but donations to Bike Fun – a non-profit organization based in Nashville – are welcomed. For bicycle lessons\, KJ works at 5 specific locations from southern Sumner to northern Williamson Counties\, including locations in South Nashville\, East Nashville\, and West Nashville. DESCRIPTION:KJ will be lead teaching the third session of the popular Walk Bike Nashville Adult Learn to Ride class. You must register to attend using the form here. Class size is limited. Do you feel like you could use a refresher? Then we have something just for you! \nOn Saturday\, July 17th\, 2021\, from 8:00 – 11:00 am Walk Bike Nashville and Bike Fun are hosting a women-only Adult Learn to Ride event. Bicycling is an amazing way to exercise and get around town. Don’t be shy. \nAdult Learn to Ride is a free\, community course for adults who are ready to learn to ride a bicycle. Whether you are 18 or 70\, our certified instructors will help you get from zero to riding in no time. This course is organized by Walk Bike Nashville. This course is for folks who have never pedaled a bicycle before or who have been away for decades!
