DESCRIPTION:Let’s ride a bike!\nGoing strong into its third year\, the new moniker for the festival is the \nNashville Bicycle Festival\nThis event brings together a wide variety of bicycling enthusiasts – from supporters to mechanics\, from beginners to experienced cyclists\, from commuters to mountain bikers to cargo haulers and more. \nWhen: Saturday\, April 12th\, 10A-2P\nWhere: South Inglewood Community Center\, 1624 Rebecca Street (approach from Moore Street if not on foot/on a bike) \n \nWhat: Block printing of bicycle art (bring your own t-shirt if you want!)\, slow bicycle race\, bicycle parade\, best dressed bicycle contest\, HUB bike blitz\, helmet fittings & giveaways\, bike sizing & giveaways\, rider & bicycle visibility station\, & more. See our participant list below! \nDo you want to help volunteer at the festival? Thank you! Sign up here.\nBike Fun is grateful to have received a grant for a third year from the Inglewood Neighborhood Association in support of this event. We are also thankful for our location partner\, the South Inglewood Community Center! \nIf there’s inclement weather\, the Bicycle Festival will be held inside the South Inglewood Community Center. Otherwise\, we’ll be outside! \n What's going on during the Nashville Bicycle Festival? DESCRIPTION:Basic safety checks + bike giveaways\nCome join us at the McFerrin Park Neighborhood Association Eggstravaganza & playground ribbon cutting event! We will be there with information on bike riding\, taking care of your bike\, and more. Bike Fun will also provide basic bicycle safety checks. The event will be held at the McFerrin Park Community Center on Grace Street. \n \nBicycle & accessories giveaway\nWe will have a limited number of kids bikes that we will be giving away during the event. We will also have bike accessories like bells\, visibility stickers\, and reflectors to give away. \nFirst come\, first served\nOur basic fixes include fix-a-flat\, bolt safety checks\, and chain cleaning. Come see us and learn how to keep your bike in good riding shape! \n\nBike Fun is a non-profit whose mission is to create joyful riders in Middle Tennessee.\nThe McFerrin Park Neighborhood Association is a group of committed & concerned neighbors who live or do business in McFerrin Park.\n\n  \n  \n
