DESCRIPTION:Help us get some bikes ready to roll!\n\nWe’re in need of some cleaning for donated bikes that have been in storage.\nIf you’ve got basic mechanical skills\, we’ll also be making adjustments on either simple single speed kids bikes or (less likely) geared\, hand brake bikes.\nFor bikes that we can’t fully fix\, we’ll strip them for usable parts.\nDrop by anytime during the hours of 5-7pm. We’ll wrap up by 8pm.\nWe’ll be in the parking strip next to the building. If it’s raining\, we will be inside the Bike Fun Bike Lab.\nMeet us at Woodbine UMC\, between Nolensville Pike and Grandview Ave.\nLet us know you’re coming if you can! sign up to volunteer here.\n\nBike Fun will supply rags\, soap\, water\, degreaser\, etc. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. There will be snacks! \nWe’ll be working RAIN OR SHINE with an indoor plan if needed!

Bike Fun has limited bicycles and helmets to use for students who need them. If you need a bicycle or helmet\, we have some available – just let us know on the registration form! \nWhat should I bring?\nIf you have a bicycle to ride that is in safe working condition\, please bring it! (Not sure if it’s in safe working condition? Bring it to a local bike shop for a once-over before the workshop\, or visit us at a Bike Lab Open Shop event to learn how to work on it yourself! We cannot repair bicycles on site.) \nBring a snack and some water. Come learn how just a few maintenance tasks will keep your bike going longer. \nBike Fun is hosting a Basic Bicycle Maintenance class. We will cover the basics of home bicycle maintenance\, as well as provide time to answer questions you may have about bicycle maintenance. If you have a bicycle and bring it\, we’ll also fill out your very own Bicycle Information Sheet. \nRegistration for the class is here. Suggested ticket price is sliding scale between $35-45.  \nWe will be inside working on our bicycles. \nThis course is for anyone 13 and up who wants to learn more about taking good care of a bicycle. DESCRIPTION:Help us get some bikes cleaned!\n\nWe’re in need of some cleaning for bikes that have been in a dusty storage situation.\nIf you’ve got basic mechanical skills\, we’ll also be making adjustments either simple single speed kids bikes or (less likely) geared\, hand brake bikes.\nDrop by anytime during the hours of 10am and 1pm. We’ll wrap up by 2pm.\nIf it’s not too cold\, we’ll be in the back parking lot. If it’s cold or raining\, we will be inside the Bike Fun Bike Lab.\nMeet us at Woodbine UMC\, between Nolensville Pike and Grandview Ave.\n\nBike Fun will supply rags\, soap\, water\, degreaser\, etc. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. If there’s interest\, we’ll order some lunch! \nWe’ll be working RAIN OR SHINE with an indoor plan if needed!

DESCRIPTION:Need tools\, parts\, support? We got you.\nCome join us on the second Tuesday of the month through the end of 2024 at Cosecha Community at Woodbine UMC. We’ll have information on bike riding\, taking care of your bike\, and more. \nIndoor shop space is limited to 3 people at a time for up to one hour. \nIt’s donation-based\nWe’ve got a limited number of spare parts available on a sliding scale basis. If you just need bench space to use tools\, consider making donation to either Bike Fun or Cosecha Community. \nFirst come\, first served\nBasic fix assistance includes fix-a-flat\, bolt safety checks\, and chain cleaning. We will have replacement tubes & tires on a first-come-first-served basis. Come see us and learn how to keep your bike in good riding shape! \n\n¿Necesita herramientas\, piezas o asistencia?
