DESCRIPTION:You’re Never Too Old to Learn to Ride!\nThis course is for brand new riders who have either only pedaled on training wheels or who have tried without success to ride without training wheels. \nYou must register to attend – see the registration form below! Class size limited to 8 students. Registration fee is sliding scale $20-50. If you need assistance with the fee\, contact us! \nClass Details\nBike Fun is hosting a 7 & 8 Year Old Learn to Ride event. Get your kid started on their bicycling journey! \nThis course is for 7 and 8 year olds who have never pedaled a bicycle before. It covers the following topics: \n\nGetting onto the bike\nBasic balance\nStarting and stopping\nPedaling\nTurning\n\nCome learn how to ride in a safe and supportive environment. \nFor our learn to ride classes\, we emphasize exposure\, not expertise. Each human learns at their own pace\, and we work with each student within their own ability. \nSee our general agenda for group classes. Get your questions about group classes answered\, too. \nAges 7 & 8. Bicycles and helmets can be provided for those who would like to attend\, but don’t have their own correctly sized bicycle yet. Please bring a water bottle/hydration and a snack! Bike Fun has limited snacks available and will have extra water.

DESCRIPTION:The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure and Bike Fun invite you to join us for a community bike ride exploring changes to the bike network around Midtown. This project has now moved into the 60-90% design phase and we need your help to finalize details! \nThe Athena Bikeways project will plan\, design\, and construct multimodal safety and mobility improvements – including high quality\, low stress bikeways – on several streets in Midtown connecting to Centennial Park. \nThe project includes the following streets: \n\n25th Avenue North from Elliston Place to Charlotte Avenue\nPatterson Street from 25th Avenue North to Bar-B-Que Alley\n29th Avenue North from West End Avenue to 31st Avenue North\nAcklen Park Drive from Murphy Road to Long Blvd\nLong Blvd from Acklen Park Drive to 31st Avenue North\nBurch Avenue from 31st Avenue North to 29th Avenue North\n\nYou can see project information here. \nBike Fun can provide up to 10 bikes for riders who need one. RSVPs are helpful but not required if you have your own bicycle. If you need a bicycle\, you must RSVP so we can bring an appropriately sized bicycle for you. \nWe are meeting at the Oasis Bike Workshop parking lot to roll out by 10:15AM. You can see a full agenda here. \nRiders ages 10+ are welcome on this ride; parent/guardian must accompany ages 10-17.
